Nightlife in Pattaya 2022/23
Imagine walking down a street full of neon signs for clubs, discos and bars… This is Pattaya nightlife. After a day of sunbathing and shopping, this city offers some of the best nightlife in Thailand or even the world. Even if many bars have closed since the beginning of the pandemic, there are still many places where nightlife is still vibrant. Here is a list of the top recommended nightlife spots in Pattaya in 2022/2023.
Pattaya Walking Street
About a kilometer long, Pattaya Walking Street is known for completely blocking vehicular traffic every day after 6:00 p.m. Lined with neon signs for some of Thailand’s best bars, clubs and entertainment shows, the pedestrian street is packed year-round. Tourists and even locals can groove to rock music at Club Insomnia or Mixx Discotheque, sip a beer at Abbe’s Bar or Hot Tuna Bar, or just stroll around and experience the crazy atmosphere. A great example of Pattaya’s vibrant nightlife, Walking Street is a party in itself. Also in the year 2022 / 2023 the party mile par excellence.
Soi 7
Those looking for a good nightlife in Pattaya should visit the neon pink open-air bars of Beach Road Soi 7. The bars here are cheaper than walking street bars and popular with backpackers and budget travelers who just want to sit, relax and have a drink. The Luxor Bar and the Pandora Bar are among the most popular bars. Here you can find a local beer for only 65 THB.
GoGo bars
The Thai version of a strip club, go-go bars in Pattaya are some of the best entertainment options for tourists. These bars have a central stage with bars, with sofas facing these bars. Various girls dance around the poles and mingle with the customers who tip them. Not only inside, but also in front of the go-go bars, girls are standing, waving at the passing crowds and trying to invite them. What’s Up A-Go-Go and Airport Club are two of the most popular go-go bars. Both are located on Pattaya Walking Street. The experience might not be for everyone, but it’s an undeniable part of Pattaya nightlife.

Jomtien Beach
If you love Walking Street’s party scene, then Jomtien Beach isn’t for you. With a small group of bars and restaurants open, this beach offers a comparatively relaxed atmosphere for families and friends who just want to sit, chat, eat and drink while enjoying the refreshing night sea breeze. However, it is still a good place to enjoy a quiet nightlife in Pattaya.
Horizon Rooftop Bar, Hilton
If you’re not the kind of person who can stand loud music and crowds on Walking Street, the Hilton’s Horizon Rooftop Bar is a good place to go. Located on the 34th floor, you can find peace away from the parties, sit on the large sofa and drink a glass of wine. Pattaya’s swankiest party, this bar is undoubtedly pricey, but it has happy hour between 5pm and 7pm. What could be better than enjoying the stunning sunset with a loved one from one of Pattaya’s tallest buildings?
